Roller freestyle : Haiti at the World Skate Games 2024

For the first time, Haiti has qualified for the World Skate Games 2024, thanks to Gesny Pierre Louis, a young Haitian-Chilean roller skater (11th in the world in roller freestyle), who will defend our colors on the international scene.

A competition that takes place in Rome (Italy) from September 6 to 22, which will bring together 100 countries and 12,000 athletes in 12 disciplines : Skateboard, Roller freestyle, Scooter, Roller racing, Downhill, Slalom, Inline freestyle, Skatecross, Rink hockey, Roller hockey, Roller derby and Artistic roller skating. 4 physics correcting teachers honored

The Collective of West Physics Correctors honored four teachers who have been involved in correcting physics baccalaureate exams for several decades. The four physics correcting teachers honored are: Kethnel Vernet (44 years of service); Joseph Rénol Museau (40 years of service); Pierre Martin Broyer (39 years of service) and Patrick Saint-Franc (34 years of service).

20th anniversary of the ULCC

On Friday, September 7, 2024, the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) celebrated its 20th anniversary around the theme "Transparency". The ceremony took place in a hotel in Pétion-ville, in the presence of Prime Minister Garry Conille, government ministers and members of the diplomatic corps, among others. Transfusion problem

Marie Françoise Suzan, the Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights, received, in her offices, Nancy Lainé Isaac, General Coordinator of the National Network of Negative Rh Groups (RENAGSANG). The discussions focused on the transfusion problem in the country, in particular. Humanitarian assistance to displaced persons

Thanks to the help of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Humanitarian Assistance, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has assisted more than 2,300 displaced persons with kits containing essential items such as blankets and hygiene products to help displaced families in Haiti better manage their daily lives.

Declaration of Assets

The Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Jean Ronel Sistanis, proceeded last week at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, to the declaration of his assets in accordance with the law of February 20, 2008 requiring senior officials to produce a declaration of their assets within 30 days after taking office and 30 days after the end of their mandate.
