EDH : The Peligré Power Plant is working again
The Haitian Electricity Communication Service (EDH) informs its subscribers and the general public that the technical failure at the Péligré Power Plant causing a scarcity in the distribution of electric current since October 22 has been resolved. The regular supply of the various circuits has resumed its usual course.

OFNAC : Shots fired at a helicopter
The National Office of Civil Aviation (OFNAC) informs the public that on Thursday, October 24, 2024, around 11:30 am, an S-61 helicopter operated by the United Nations heading towards the city of Les Cayes was fired upon at a distance of 7 nautical miles southwest of the city center, at an altitude of approximately 240 meters, forcing the crew to turn around. The aircraft landed safely at Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince. The crew members and the fifteen occupants on board are safe and sound.

UEH : Electoral Calendar
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of the State University of Haiti (UEH) publishes the electoral calendar for the renewal of the Executive Council of the UEH. According to this calendar, the period from October 23 to 31 is dedicated to the submission of applications for the positions of Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Vice-Rector for Research. The vote will be held on December 15, 2024 and the results will be announced on the same day.

Capacity building of health structures
