Towards the dismissal of Conille ?
On Friday, a new very tense meeting was held between the Transitional Presidential Council and Prime Minister Garry Conille. No common ground was found. According to what is circulating, the Presidential Council has decided to dismiss the Prime Minister because of his refusal of a major reshuffle of his Government. He would be replaced by Didier Fils-Aimé according to rumors. A resolution was apparently adopted by 5 votes out of 7 to this effect and should be published soon in the Official Journal Le Moniteur. It seems that since taking over the Presidency pro tempore Leslie Voltaire (representing the Lavalas sector) has chosen the path of confrontation for the benefit of his clan rather than devoting himself to the population. This information must be taken with caution, and must remain conditional in the absence of official communication.
