The Prime Minister's Office informs that on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, during the Council of Ministers meeting in special session, the following decisions were approved:

a) In order to strengthen the competent institutions and mobilize all the necessary means to obtain concrete and sustainable results in terms of security, the Council of Ministers adopted the Order revitalizing and reforming the National Commission for Disarmament, Dismantling and Reintegration (CNDDR) which is composed of 7 members;

b) Appointment of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Haiti in the Dominican Republic, the Inspector General of Embassies and Consulates, and the Consul General of Haiti in New York;

c) Creation of a Technical Commission composed of 6 members, for the Restructuring of the National Television of Haiti (TNH) and the National Radio of Haiti (RNH);

d) In order to ensure the smooth running of state institutions and achieve the objectives set in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and profitability, the Council of Ministers appointed 12 Directors General and Deputy Directors General https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44274-haiti-news-zapping.html ;

Important communications that were made during this Council:

a) Communication on the security situation in the country;

b) Communication on the progress of the draft decrees creating the communes of Thomassin and Mare Rouge and the draft orders on the establishment of the national network of reception centers and rehabilitation centers and on the fight against violence in sport;

c) Communication on the care of deported compatriots:

The Council of Ministers discussed the means to be put in place to welcome them with dignity and to promote their reintegration;

d) Communication on the publication of texts in official languages:

The authorities were instructed to take all appropriate measures to give publicity through the spoken, written and televised press, in Creole and French to the Laws, Orders, Decrees, International Agreements, Treaties, Conventions, to everything that concerns national life, with the exception of information relating to national security;

e) Communication on the National Carnival :
