In her speech, Minister Raful stated that President Luis Abinader maintains an unwavering commitment to controlling irregular immigration, considering it a priority issue of national security.

For his part, Vice Admiral Lee Ballester, stressed that the new provisions will focus on strengthening border surveillance and optimizing controls at the entrance to the territory.

He announced that the deployment of migratory control operations would increase, with the incorporation of more vehicles and technological resources for the deportation and repatriation of irregular immigrants in Dominican territory.
