Haiti - Sports : End of 4th Friendship Games, a great success for our young athletes

It is in a festive atmosphere, fraternal and sporting that the closing ceremony of the 4th Friendship Games Haitian-Dominican took place this Sunday, December 11th at the Centre Multisport of the Lycée de l'Amitié of Ganthier in the presence of official of both countries.

400 young athletes, Haitians and Dominicans have faced in competitions of volleyball, football, athletics, taekwondo, judo and basketball. Note that the handball, table tennis and baseball games were part of the 4th games as form of exhibition.

Beyond the sporting aspect of this event, leaders of the two Olympic Committees have stressed the need to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the population, in particular at the level of the two border towns and in general the two peoples.
