The #2 of the "Gran Grif" gang is dead
On the afternoon of Friday, May 16, 2025, Huguens Noreston, alias "Noutwòp," right-hand man of Lucson Élan, leader of Savien's "Gran Grif" gang, died at his home under circumstances that remain unclear. He was merciless and considered the greatest sadistic killer of "Grand Grif." His death was greeted with joy and relief by the people of Artibonite.

"Corventina" French Champion
The Haitian Football Federation warmly congratulates Melchie Daëlle Dumornay, alias "Corventina," who was crowned French champion for the second consecutive season with Olympique Lyonnais Féminine, victorious on Friday, May 16 against PSG [3-0]. Throughout the 2024-2025 season, "Corventina" performed remarkably, compiling 22 goals and 9 assists in 28 matches across all competitions. On Friday, she once again demonstrated the full extent of her talent by opening the scoring in added time of the first half. "Bravo Corventina, national pride !"

Singing Competition for Displaced Mothers
On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Women's Rights (MCFDF) launched the 3rd edition of the Singing Competition for Mothers of Displacement Sites in the Port-au-Prince Metropolitan Area. The audition session was held in a festive atmosphere at Delmas 83. The jury selected 16 participants who will advance to the second stage of the competition. This third edition of the Singing Competition for Mothers, organized by the Ministry, aims to bring hope, support mothers in displacement sites, and pay tribute to them on Mother's Day.
