Haiti - Health : Donation of 4000 doses of Electrolyte Add-In
In keeping with its mission of improving global well-being through mineral nutrition, Mineral Resources International donated more than 4,000 1.25ml rip packs of its elete Electrolyte Add-In™ to St. Vincent’s School for Handicapped Children located in Port-au-Prince.

Each 1.25ml rip pack can be added to a standard-sized 16-oz. water bottle and provides four essential electrolytes—sodium, potassium, magnesium and chloride, to support hydration, heat tolerance, muscle function and more.

The donation was made through WTN Haiti Partnership who will be making a humanitarian medical mission trip this month to Haiti. John Mutin, one of the volunteers with WTN Haiti Partnership, stated, "Cholera outbreak is all around the school area, but as of yet, the children have not become ill. They are very serious with their hand washing and are still buying drinking water so it is our hope that with these precautions they will be able to keep the outbreak away. It makes us feel more comfortable knowing we have elete on hand and ready to go. Plus, with the oppressing heat in Haiti, we always have a need of rehydration ability."
