Yesterday the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, has made a distribution of toys to thousands of children in the Champ de Mars, on the occasion of Christmas.

In a festive and friendly atmosphere, the Head of State wished to personally deliver the presents to these children, visibly excited to approach as closely the President of the Republic.

Accompanied for the occasion, of close collaborators and members of his Cabinet, the President Martelly did not hide his satisfaction at being able to bring a little smile to these children in the context of festivities.

Motorcycles and a vehicle pick-up were also distributed to happy participants of this successful party who has also brought joy to the elderly, pregnant women and young people to whom envelopes were distributed.

This distribution of toys and gifts made ​​by President Michel Martelly is circumscribed in the logic of Christmas of this year under the sign of solidarity. The Champ de Mars is the third major distribution center of present of the President of the Republic after Port de Paix and Les Cayes. This Thursday, December 22, it is to Cap Haitien that the President will go always in the same objective: to get closer to the population during the holiday season and share with the many families the spirit of solidarity that generally impregnates Christmas.
