The objective : to liberate occupied sites and restore public spaces while respecting human dignity.

He indicated that 3,653 checks, each worth 99,000 gourdes, will be distributed by July 31, 2025, to families who voluntarily leave emergency shelter sites. Strict security measures are overseeing this process, with the support of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) and the National Credit Bank (BNC).

The handover of the former premises of the Faculty of Applied Linguistics (FLA) to the Rectorate of the State University of Haiti took place on Tuesday, July 22, following the voluntary departure of displaced persons and the distribution of 302 checks.

The State plans to rehabilitate the vacated public buildings before the start of the school year.
