Haiti - Politic : Jean Evens Charles returns to the head of APN 23/09/2025 10:08:18
This appointment marks a turning point in the management of the strategic institution responsible for supervising and regulating the country's ports. In his speech, Minister Metellus reiterated the importance of the APN in economic recovery and foreign trade. "The proper functioning of our ports is a major challenge for the country's competitiveness. We are counting on the dynamism and rigor of the new Director General to modernize the institution and strengthen transparency in its management." Jean Evens Charles committed to implementing far-reaching reforms : "[...] My priority will be to work on modernizing our port infrastructure, improving the quality of services provided to users, and ensuring better internal governance.
