Haiti - Agribusiness : Ayitika Haiti Wins Silver Medal in the Gourmet Category for its 70% Dark Chocolate «Amelonado-Criollo»
At the 30th edition of the Salon du Chocolat, held in Paris from October 29 to November 2, during the awards ceremony for the 4th International Chocolate Competition organized by the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Products (AVPA), Ayitika Haiti won the silver medal in the "Gourmet" category for its 70% dark chocolate "Amelonado-Criollo".

This prestigious competition saw the participation of 240 exhibitors from some twenty countries presented 170 different chocolates.

The visionary agronomist Jean Chesnel Jean, founder of Ayitika, is certainly ambitious. He indicated his intention to participate in other international competitions, particularly in the United States and Canada, with the goal of bringing the Gourmet Gold medal back to Haiti in the coming years.

Currently, the Ayitika team is preparing to participate in the Montreal Chocolate Show from November 20 to 23, 2025, at Windsor Station.

Based in southern Haiti, Ayitika offers high-quality chocolate by adopting a "root-to-bar" approach, from the selection of cacao trees to chocolate production.
