Haiti - Croix-des-Bouquets : The Haitian National Police (PNH) deals a decisive blow against the «400 Mawozo» gang

On Friday, November 14, 2025, specialized units of the Gang Supression Force (GSF), the Haitian National Police (PNH), and the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H) conducted a large-scale, coordinated, intelligence-led security operation against the leaders and members of the “400 Mawozo” terrorist gang, who had blocked and fortified several sections of National Road 3 (RN3).
The assault on Friday, November 14, 2025, dealt a decisive blow to the criminal gangs and led to the seizure of a significant arsenal of weapons and ammunition, as well as a substantial increase in police presence in areas previously under the complete control of the criminal groups.
Among the equipment seized was the gang’s armored bulldozer at the intersection of Rue Grande Plaine and RD-303, a vehicle used to erect road barricades and destroy State infrastructure. Among the seized weapons, the Haitian National Police (PNH) recovered a .50 caliber American Barrett rifle, a high-precision, large-caliber sniper weapon with an effective range of 2,800 meters, capable of penetrating a 2 cm thick steel plate at a distance of several hundred meters using armor-piercing ammunition, which was the subject of intense propaganda by the gang. The neutralization of this critical equipment demonstrates the PNH's operational capacity to strike at the heart of the gangs' logistical resources and put an end to their reign of terror. This major breakthrough marks an unprecedented setback for the terrorists. Several were killed in the clashes, and others, wounded, were forced to flee in the face of the security forces' determination and firepower. No casualties were reported among the security forces.
