Haiti - Politic : Deputies are demanding justice against members of the CEP 03/01/2012 14:23:08
Following the dissolution of the Provisional Electoral Council, the deputy Eloune Doréus requires that electoral advisers including former President of the CEP, Gaillot Dorsinvil, be submitted to the justice and that they explain the facts which they are charged so that justice takes all necessary measures against them.
The Deputy Patrick Joseph recalls that "...the population is eager to see all those involved in scandals across the country respond to justice" and hopes that the authorities concerned will give the adequate suites necessary in this case.
On the other hand, according to Me Osner Févry, Ribel Pierre a former member of the CEP who was about to leave the country on Saturday, saw his passport confiscated by the departments concerned at the time he was about to enter the departure lounge. Me Févry stressed that justice had taken no measure prohibiting the departure against the adviser, but that someone else had decided otherwise.
