Cap-Haitien's Energy Future

Representatives from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), IDB Invest, Électricité d’Haïti (Ed’H), the Energy Unit of the Ministry of Public Works, the Technical Implementation Unit (UTE) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), and the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANARSE) conducted an initial field mission to gather basic technical information to guide future investments in the rehabilitation and development of Cap-Haïtien's electricity production and distribution infrastructure. Technical visits were conducted to the PMB (Installed Capacity: 15 MW) and Ste Philomène (Installed Capacity: 10.8 MW) power plants.

Haiti at the XXV Olympic Winter Games

Haiti will participate in the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Italy, specifically in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, from February 6 to 22, 2026, with two skiers: Richardson Viano, specializing in slalom and giant slalom, and Stevenson Savart, 26, a cross-country skiing specialist. US Strong Support for the PNH

International Women's Sports Day

"The end of the CPT will not create a vacuum," says Privert

According to former interim President of Haiti, Jocelerme Privert, the end of the mandate of the Presidential Transitional Council on February 7 will not create an institutional vacuum. The Council of Ministers will assume the role of the executive branch with the objective of organizing the next elections.
