Haiti - Politic : Quick trip of President Martelly in Nicaragua
The President Michel Martelly, accompanied by Foreign Minister, Laurent Lamothe, left the country Tuesday, January 10, to attend, in Nicaragua, to the inauguration of President Daniel Ortega, re-elected in November 2011.

The Head of State will return home this Wednesday to attend the commemorative events of January 12, 2010 before traveling to Guamatela Friday, to attend Saturday to the ceremony of swearing in of President Otto Perez Molina.

Yesterday, before leaving the country, the President Michel Martelly told the press "...it is a small delegation that will represent Haiti at the swearing in of the 83rd President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, re-elected on November 6 [...] In the same way that Haiti, Nicaragua participates in the program PetroCaribe [...] so we can learn from the experience of Nicaragua, in how to use the PetroCaribe funds, in addition, Haiti has full attention of the Government of President Ortega.
