If the budget of the National Carnival 2012, is still not known, the members of the National Committee are now known. The particularity of this committee, presided by William Eliacin of the company Barbancourt, is the integration of the private sector clarified Pierre Raymond Dumas, the Minister of Culture, who believes that the integration of the private sector is a step towards the formation of a permanent committee of Carnival. He stated that this approach is the result of an effort of rationalization of the organization and of management of the carnival "It is a sign that shows that the public and private sectors come together to achieve good things."

News of the Carnival of Jacmel :
Miche Géhy, President of the Organizing Committee of the Carnival of Jacmel, announced that this year, some Miss 2012, from France, Canada, Denmark and the Turks and Caicos islands and a dozen regional queens will participate to the Carnival of Jacmel.
