Haiti - Football : Jean Bart (Dadou) unanimously re-elected at the head of the FHF
This Sunday, January 29, at the ranch sporting of Croix-des-Bouquets, the Haiti Football Federation (FHF) in Congress, proceeded to the election of the Executive Committee which will ensure the leadership of the Federation for 4 years. The delegates had to choose between Dr. Yves Jean Bart, the outgoing President, at the head of the committee "Heritage" and Dr. Gerard Janvier representing the committee "Change".
The elections were conducted in the presence of Italian Primo Corvaro supervisor of FIFA (International Federation of Association Football), of Senator John Joël Joseph, of Deputy Beguens Théus, of Ernst Jean-Baptiste, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of sports and sports clubs delegates. Note that only three members of the Committee "Change" were present at the beginning of the conference, but left before the election, alleging irregularities.
Dadou was re-elected without surprise, for a fourth term of 4 years, 20 votes for 0 votes against. The 20 delegates, representatives of the Haitian football clubs [all classes] have unanimously renewed their confidence in spite of much criticism in recent months, whose was the subject the outgoing President. The Executive Committee of Heritage, that will ensure during the next 4 years the Directorate of FHF is composed of : Yves Jean-Bart, Julio Cadet, Frantz Calixte, Pierre André Mirville, Garry Nicolas, Varieno Saint-Fleur, Gabriel Rigaud, Roger Mackenzie, Monique André, Rosnick Grant et Jean-Louis Guston.
During the congress, the 20 delegates have established an Appeals Board consisting of five members [Absalon Vital, Jean-Pierre Blaise, Énock Chéry, Lionel Bien-Aimé et Phito Clervil] responsible for the validation of Sunday's election. Dr. Jean Bart has insisted, so that the Haitian Olympic Committee is part of the Commission as an observer.
