[...] We want to give our members the option of exploring these opportunities, and we feel that now is the opportunity to look into doing joint ventures with Haiti" Rolle explained, stressing that the Bahamas and Haiti could realize the benefits of construction sector.

Apart from the construction sector, the Bahamas might be interested in agriculture "Haiti have very fertile land and are able to grow things that The Bahamas is not growing right now" mentioned the President of the Chamber of Commerce, stating that there were few regulatory problems to be solved before we can import agricultural products and others of Haiti. The renewable energy sector is another sector in which the Bahamian companies could be interested in making partnerships with Haitian businesses.
