Haiti - Politic : Members of the Government before the Senate Committee this morning ?
After a request from the Executive to postpone for a week the convening of members of Government, agreed on February 16 by the Senator Joseph Lambert, President of the Senate Committee responsible for verifying the nationality of members of Government, Ministers and Secretaries of State, convened individually, should appear today Thursday, between 9:00am and noon before the Commission.

Will they come with their passport, considering the resolution taken in Council of Minister on 13 February where it was decided "that its members refrain from submitting the documents requested, unless, that by court order, it is otherwise ordered" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-4955-haiti-politic-the-senate-commission-will-not-have-the-passports-of-the-executive.html ? Or they will simply be present at their convocation in order to respect the Constitution and prevent the interpellation...? We can ask the question... So far, only the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille handed his passports to the Commission.

We should, in principle, know the answer later in the day, unless a further postponement... or a new twist in the saga of the dual nationality that continues to poison the relations between the executive and legislative branches.
