Haiti - Social : Message of Sympathy of President Michel Martelly

The President Joseph Michel Martelly, has learned with great sadness the news of the terrible traffic accident occurred, this Saturday, April 7, on the National Road #2 at the height of Morne Tapion, near the town of Petit-Goâve where a truck carrying merchants and goods overturned, killing 26 people and wounded thirty.

This tragedy occurred on the eve of Easter, plunges unfortunately, many families in mourning at a time where we celebrate life, sharing and solidarity.

The President of the Republic, while deploring the tragedy that saddens once again the Haitian families, presents its sympathies to the relatives of victims and renews its commitment to work to correct a set of practices that continue to bring harm to the communities.
