Left on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, the delegation of ten young Haitians, of the Junior Chamber International Haiti (JCI Haiti) has proudly represented the country at the conference of the Zone of the Americas, which brought together over 700 delegates from 35 countries from May 2 to 5 in Curitiba, Brazil.

During these three days, several activities have marked this conference of Zone of the Americas including general assemblies, discussion forums, training sessions and fairs.

The delegation of ten ambassadors, led by John Walter Destiné, the National President, has never missed an opportunity to promote the cultural values ​​and tourism potentials of the country through among other things, distribution of communication materials (magazine Magic Haiti, brochures and bracelets of Haiti) given by the Minister of Tourism. These young active citizens also shared the vision of youth, on Haiti's reconstruction and argued for the construction project of the Integrated Centre for Youth, whose mission is to train future leaders of Haiti.

During this conference, a twinning project between JCI Canada and JCI Haiti was signed. "I pledge to support the JCI Haiti in the achievement of its construction project of Multipurpose center and the building project (in books) of municipal libraries of Jacmel and Croix-des-Bouquets," promised François Bégin, the National President of JCI Canada.

For his part, John Walter Destiné indicated that this twinning project was part of the credo of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) which states "we believe that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations" Through the signing of this agreement, JCI Haiti has articulated the word and action.

Members of the delegation of Haiti are returned to Haiti on Tuesday and gives rendezvous for the World Congress in Taipei (Taiwan) on November 18.
