In a note signed by Kély Bastien and Joseph Lambert, the two former Senators strongly condemned the decision of the provisional Executive Board of INITE to exclude them from the platform.

"[...] We have learned through the press, that adherent members non-signatory of the founding charter of INITE and that are only part of a provisional coordination, appointed by administrative act for a specific mandate, has assumed the right to remove founding member of that platform.

This astonishing initiative, covers a usurpation of title and the appropriation of a right and power which belong only to the Congress on the platform, bringing in General Assembly all the regional coordinations and the departmental and communal delegates.

We condemn in the strongest terms, an approach so vile, detrimental to the basic rules of the management of movements and political platforms.

We tremble with fear, to anticipate the democratic tendencies of such eaders, arrived one day at the head of the State if in the microcosm of the management of their organization, they succumb so easily to the temptation of such deviations and abuses of power.

With these considerations and, without wanting to argue with partners cheated or obsessed in an unguarded moment, we ask the provisional coordination of INITE to recover, to correct this anomaly and to make public apology to all the constituent organizations of the platform in general and to the founding members unfairly and arbitrarily targeted, in particular.

Fault by it to comply with this lawful request within a period not exceeding 48 hours, the undersigned and regional groups and other founding members outraged by the measure of coordination a.i., will take steps provided by law and the reason..."
