Haiti - Tourism : 7 ambassadors for the promotion of tourism in the South 09/06/2012 11:25:15
"It is undeniable that tourism in the South know recently, a certain renewal of vitality. The success of the 2012 national carnival in Les Cayes, is probably one of the main reasons, and the full success of this event has continued to create a buzz, a sensation, both nationally and internationally in favor of the region. Not to lose that momentum and keep the interest established to the 'Destination South', the Regional Office of Tourism has decided to appoint a pool of Volunteer ambassadors for the Promotion of South (AVPS). These ambassadors are eminent personalities aware of the importance and of the contribution of tourism in the economy of the southern region, and work tirelessly for the development and promotion of tourism. These ambassadors will be asked to support, advise and assist the Regional Office of Tourism South in all its approaches and strategies to promote the destination.
