Haiti - Tourism : Inauguration of first tourist kiosk in Cap-Haitien 16/07/2012 19:45:35
The Minister met the guides and drivers "red cap" (baggage handlers at the airport) to remind them of the important role they play at the level of the reception and for a regulation of tourist transportation, in order to put tourists at ease. She also had a meeting with tour operators around the problems of funding of touristic projects. The Minister has indicated that this "Festival of the Sea" could be implanted in other coastal regions of the country to promote tourism in Haiti.
