Haiti's Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, expresses to the people of Ghana, the condolences of the Government of Haiti, following the news of the sudden disappearance of the President of Ghana Mr. John Atta Mills, who died suddenly at age 68, of cancer. The President John Atta Mills, who led Ghana since 2009, is replaced by his Vice-President, Mr. Dramani Mahama, for an interim that will last until the presidential election scheduled for December 2012.

The Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe like the heads of government around the world salutes the memory of the disappeared, a note well received this morning in Ghana, one of the largest oil producers of the region.
