Godson Orélus, the new Director-General ai (ad interim) of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), appointed by the Presidency successor to Mario Andrésol, whose mandate ended August 18, 2012, and installed this Monday, August 20, 2012, before being ratified by the Senate, submitted yesterday, Wednesday, 19 documents to the Senate Committee on Justice and Security, whose his criminal record and of certificates concerning his career within the police force.

Godson Orélus should be heard on August 27 by the Commission, which intends to act quickly, wishing to regularize as soon as possible, the situation of Godson Orélus "We will go very quickly," said the Senator Francky Exius, President of the Commission, aware of the irregularity of the situation of an installation without prior ratification and the need to legalize the mandate of the Chief of Police, according to the requirements of the Constitution.

Concerning the allegations of Deputy Éloune Doréus [OPL] on the involvement of Godson Orélus in the arrest of Deputy Arnel Bélizaire in October 2011, Senator Exius Francky says he is not aware of the allegations but that he would investigate this subject.
