According to the latest numerical analysis of the trajectory, the center of ISAAC will pass on or near the southern coast of Haiti during the day, ISAAC will affect more seriously the Haitian territory if it takes a direction West Northwest or Northwest during the day, in this case the departments most affected would be the South, Grand Anse, Nippes, South-East and the West Department.

If it continues in a westerly direction the country will be slightest affected because its center will be approximately 250km off the southern coast of Haiti, and the winds of ISAAC extend up to 295km of its center.

In its latest bulletin the National Meteorological Centre (CNM) dated 2 am, it indicates that ISAAC could cause in the next few hours of moderate to heavy rain, flooding, landslides and mudslides.

The country is still under the Alert phase 2 at the level of Red Vigilance (ie risk of impact of intensity violent to extreme) and recalls the activation of the Plan PNGRD faces to the threats of strong winds, heavy rain and big seas with risk of landslides, mudslides and flooding throughout the country from Friday.

The CNM together with the SPGRD and the DPC asks the population in the areas at risk to remain vigilant and strictly implement the following safety precautions :

- Be prepared to evacuate if necessary, areas exposed to floods and landslides (seaside, gullies, rivers, mountain slopes, etc...)
- Do not cross rivers in spate under any circumstances.
- Do not stay on the bridge.
- In case of severe thunderstorms, do not shelter near windows and wooded area.
- Put animals in safe places.
