Haiti - Environment : ISAAC, moves toward Haiti 24/08/2012 11:28:27
According to the trajectory provided by the NHC of Miami, ISAAC should be off the departments of the South and South-East this afternoon, and having left Haiti tonight at 2:00 am, while having passed on the department of South and of the Grand'Anse. If this trajectory continues, the departments most affected would be the South, Grand Anse, Nippes, South-East, and the Department of the West. Note that winds are now 95km/h, unlike 80km/h this morning and the area of influence is 295km surrounding from its center.  The Prime Minister Lamothe declared "...I would like ask to the population to remain vigilant [...] that it continues to inform so that it knows what provisions will be made..." While the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) recalls to all the managers of hospitals and public health centers, the obligation they have to keep open 24/24 the doors of all health institutions in the country during the passage of ISAAC.
