Haiti - Tourism : The beaches of Haiti on the highway I-95 in Miami

The Consulate General of Haiti in Miami is proud to announce that in order to change the image of Haiti abroad, a huge billboard promoting the new image of the country, was installed on Interstate 95 in Miami, one of the busiest in the State of Florida.

This great first is the culmination of many months of close collaboration and planning between the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami and the Ministry of Tourism of Haiti. Located on the facade Southeast of the Interstate 95 and of the 79th Street in Miami, this billboard which promotes the beauty of Haiti, will ensure, in this location, a constant visibility of Haiti, 664.000 motorists who attend every week this important road.

"Haiti, formerly the pearl of the Antilles, the perfect place for family vacations, entertainment, tourism and culture, was gradually discarded for the rest of the world because of its economic and political situation. Now, with the determination of the administration Martelly-Lamothe to improve the image of the country through the diplomatic and consular missions, Haiti, land of bravery, dignity and freedom, will regain his crown of yesteryear," reminded François Guillaume II, the dynamic Consul General of Haiti in Miami, who expressed satisfaction about this beautiful success, which is part of a series of media campaign, whose aim is to raise the image of Haiti and promote the business diplomacy abroad.
