Haiti - Security : The Dominican roads safer for Haitian nationals ? 26/10/2012 10:11:56
It seems that the statements of the Dominican Ambassador were not empty words, because this week, the Dominican Embassy in Haiti indicated in a note that the National Police of the Dominican Republic, had proceeded to the dismantling of a major gang involving Dominicans and Haitians, who used to operate on the road linking Bani to San Cristobal in Dominican Republic. During this police operation, 10 suspects were arrested, including two Haitian nationals, while at least 5 other members of this group are fleeing and actively sought.
