Haiti - Social : Digicel apologizes to give bad service...

In a statement, the company Digicel offers its most sincere apologies to customers in Haiti for the poor quality of service, they have received in recent months, and promises to do everything possible to regain their confidence.

The company states that these problems are the result of extensive program of network integration of Voilà, of the deployment of new 4G services and update of its current network.

In order to address and resolve the root causes of service issues, Digicel has conducted a comprehensive review of the network and has identified a number of problems, whose particularly, a large number of dropped calls, which are the causes of poor quality of service offered to customers.

Thus, Digicel is currently conducting an accelerated program of system improvements to address problems in the shortest possible time and in the meantime, the network performance continues to improve. This improvement program will be completed before Christmas.

Damian Blackburn, CEO of Digicel Haiti, comments "We had a certain number of problems with the services we offer and this is simply unacceptable. We know how it is frustrating to have a service that is not working as it should. We also know that when things go wrong - we must explain to our customers and must keep them informed. We simply have not offered what we promised and we are not able to communicate effectively with the customers where they encountered service problems" adding "We apologize for having abandoned our customers and thank them for their patience and understanding. At Digicel, we want what is best for you and we need to gain your confidence. You deserve better and we will offer you the best. As soon these works completed, you will see a big difference and enjoy the best mobile experience in Haiti. This is the promise I make to our valued customers."
