Yesterday, Thursday, the Directorate General of Post has initiated the steps for the integration of all the employees of the Institution to the health program of the Office of Workers' Compensation Insurance, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA).

The Post Office of Haiti through this initiative will enable all employees of the capital and provincial towns to have a valid instrument of social protection and indispensable, as well as members of their respective families.

The Post Office of Haiti will offer this health coverage to all members of its staff from January 2013, a first in the annals of the institution, a decision that responds to the vision of change conveyed by Ms. Régine Godefroy, Director General, since its installation.

This health coverage to employees of the Post Office will be funded solely by the institution, the services to which the employees will be able to benefit are :

• Free medical services: Emergency Care, Medical Care and Surgical, Dental, Hospitalization

• Compensation

• Paramedical Services: Pharmacy, Radiography, Laboratory, Sonography, Mammography, Physical Therapy

• Prevention Service: Family Planning, Prevention of STIs...

• Social Service of management Psycho-social

• Ambulance Service available 24/24 hours

• External clinic for the community at ridiculous price
