Haiti - Environment : Operation Pétion-Ville PwòP this Sunday
The municipality of Pétion-Ville invites the population to a community day to clean and embellish the town "Indeed, this Sunday, December 16, 2012, all businesses, residences and the population in general is invited to a great Koumbite community in order to prepare and clean up the city of Petion-Ville for the holiday season," says a note signed by the Mayor of Petion-Ville, Yvanka Jolicoeur B.

This great event, Pétion-Ville PwòP will take place from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The appointment will be at the Lycée Pétion-Ville where teams and groups will depart for this big cleaning day.

"We are all responsible for the condition of our city and it is our responsibility as citizens of the municipality to help keep it clean and beautiful. This Koumbite is only a first step in the improvement work that the municipality intends to undertake," indicates the Mayor, adding that "Pétion-Ville and its surroundings became the focal point of the country in the sectors of commerce, finance and entertainment. Let us be proud of our town and demonstrate it by keeping it clean and beautiful."
