Haiti - Politic : Resignation of Representatives of CSPJ to the CEP, deadlock persists 19/01/2013 12:19:42
The Senator Saint-Vil stressed that the situation was delicate, due to the independence of the CEP, enshrined in the Constitution and of immovable character, according to law, of 3 advisors already elected for 10 years. Me Carlos Hercules, President of the Federation of Haitian bars, abounds in the same direction, stating that no authority, can constrain these of 3 advisors to resign, however, he encourages the mediators of CSPJ, to pursue their negotiations with these advisers, to convince them to leave their seats voluntarily, deploring also the slowness of the process, aimed at resolving the pre-electoral crisis which is dragging.
