Haiti - Tourism : Training of 21 hygiene and salubrity Inspectors
The Ministry of Tourism (MDT) proceeded Wednesday, January 23 at a presentation of certificates to 21 young inspectors, trained in hygiene and salubrity, over the last 5 months.

The courses were provided by Canadian trainers as part of a partnership agreement of continuing training initialed between the MTD and the Collège Montmorency Quebec. These new inspectors will strengthen the Training Department of the Ministry of Tourism and the Department of Control and Supervision of tourist establishments "this certificate you receive today is only the first step of the podium, that should make of you, true professionals, able soon to provide knowledge in an area where executives are desperately needed, ," declared to the graduates, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism.

The second phase of this training process, will focus primarily on the quality standards and is scheduled for February 2013.
