Haiti - Politic : Triple resignations at CEP 13/03/2013 09:21:55
Tuesday, during a press conference, the President Michel Martelly announced that the 3 representatives of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) to the Permanent Electoral Council (CEP), had decided to resign, to facilitate a solution to a crisis that has lasted too long. In addition, the Head of State indicated that the 3 representatives of the Executive in the CEP are also ready to withdraw, in order to promote a out of the impasse. The President stated that "3 new Representatives of the Executive, at College Transitional of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP), have already been designated by the Executive, are already designated by the Executive, which waits for the choices of other powers, to set in motion the structure that must organize this year the next elections in the country."
