Haiti - Politic : 2nd working session of the Forum of Directors General 26/03/2013 13:01:05 The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe made a courtesy visit to the Forum, during which he congratulated the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) for its great work of coordination and modernization of the Public Administration. Uder Antoine, Coordinator of the OMRH believes that this Forum will allow to advance with the reform process emphasizing that the Directors General are the operational pillar of the reform of the State. Laurent Lamothe, commended the work of Directors General, whose some of whom work in difficult conditions since January 12, 2010 "The effort that you should do in each respective institution must most certainly have an effect on the quality of service to the population, encouraging them to continue the coordination of governmental actions." In addition, the Head of Government asked the Directors General to work to improve the services provided to the population and to better inform citizens of different initiatives in their favor "The success of the government depends on the success of each institution and the work that achieves OMRH will allow to achieve the changes we want to see [...] If we can get this performance, it is Haiti that will out beneficiary." Serge Philippe Pierre, Special Advisor in Communications of Prime Minister, explained a set of strategies that the Directors General could use to raise awareness of the work they do, reminding them that "today, it is the media that lead the world." On the sidelines of the Forum, Dr. Max Salbin, Director General of the Office of Workers' Compensation Insurance, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA) has recognized the importance of the visit of the Prime Minister saying that "These meetings [which will be repeated every 2 months] will enable all DGs, to speak with one voice."
