Jean Rodolphe Joazile, the Minister of Defense, is currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to participate from 9 to 12 April, at the 9th Edition of LAAD Defense & Security 2013, large international fair of defense, security and technology. This biennial brings together Brazilian and international companies specialized in the supply of equipment, technologies and services for the armed forces, police, special forces and security services.

Haiti is present at this great event to explore, understand, but also to share with his friends of Latin America and the world, the uniqueness of the experience of Haiti, in term of defense and security.

Thir travel falls within the framework of the dynamics triggered by the government team through the Ministry of Defence to provide the country with defense structures, strong and effective upstream and downstream of major events, natural or induced.

According to the Minister, LAAD Defense & Security 2013, certainly will be an important platform in the implementation of the next three-year plan : Corps of Engineers, Environmental Guard, Border Guard etc...
