Haiti - Diplomacy : The U.S. Embassy welcomes the swearing-in of 9 members of the CTCEP 19/04/2013 12:20:44
The Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government have taken an important step towards organizing elections in Haiti. The spirit of dialogue, compromise and sense of duty is important to move forward on Haiti’s major issues, particularly the organization of senatorial and municipal elections this year. We wish everyone success in this endeavour which represents an important cornerstone for Haiti. The United States Government remains committed to supporting the people and Government of Haiti over the long-term, in building a more stable and prosperous future for its people.
