Haiti - Diplomacy : The U.S. Embassy welcomes the swearing-in of 9 members of the CTCEP

The Embassy of the United States of America welcomes the official swearing-in of the nine members of the Transitional College of the Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP), installed this Friday, April 19, 2013.

The Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government have taken an important step towards organizing elections in Haiti. The spirit of dialogue, compromise and sense of duty is important to move forward on Haiti’s major issues, particularly the organization of senatorial and municipal elections this year. We wish everyone success in this endeavour which represents an important cornerstone for Haiti.

The United States Government remains committed to supporting the people and Government of Haiti over the long-term, in building a more stable and prosperous future for its people.

The 9 members of the CTCEP :

Legislative Power : Pierre Simon Georges ; Néhémy Joseph ; Marie Clunie Dumay Miracles. Executive Power : Jean Marie Vianney Emmanuel Ménard ; Jacqueline Patricia Chantale Raymond ; Gloria Margarette Girault Saint-Louis. Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) : Léopold Berlanger ; Marie Carole Innocent Floreal Duclervil ; Applys Félix.
