Haiti - Sports : A dream week in France for 14 young Haitian footballers 03/05/2013 13:15:49 This initiative, supported by the Haitian government, actively participating in the reconstruction of spirits, which is essential to restore hope to the younger generation. This trip is organized by the "POUMPOUM" association led by Gessie Michel, with the support of the Haitian Ski Federation and its President, Jean Pierre Roy aka "Rasta Picquet". Their tour will begin with three days in Paris. The young players will be accommodated at the international home "Jean Monnet". Expected early Saturday, May 4 at the Charles de Gaulle airport, after a day of discovery, our 14 young people are expected at 7 p.m. at Stade Pierre de Coubertin, on invitation of the Foundation PSG to attend the semi-final of the cup France de Handball who oppose the PSG-Handball to Dunkerque. Sunday, May 5, from 11:30 am. to the stadium ean Lezer de Montrouge, our young footballers will face the Montrouge Football Club 92 (FCM) for the first friendly match. Jean Pierre Roy, Haitian international skier, will be with them to encourage them and share some balloons... Sunday night, it will also be a moment of dreams, since they will be able to attend, thanks to the generosity of the City of Paris the match PSG/Valencienne at e Parc des Princes. Monday, they will be in Montrouge where they will participate in a training day with the FCM. This will be the end of their Paris trip. In the process, they will leave for the Calvados in Normandy, invited to participate in the tournament of FC of Troarn which includes 600 children in the region. Unusually, this is the first time that a team from outside the region is invited to this tournament. Haitian youth football will be hosted during the week, in families of players they will encounter. The weekly program is based on cultural exchange and various visits: memorial and the landing beaches, visit of the city of Caen, Mont Saint Michel and activities of kayak and picnic depending on the weather... The return is scheduled for next weekend, with an evening Saturday, May 11, at the Salons Vénitiens des Pavillons de Bercy, Paris, where they will find the magic of Haitian carnival at the occasion of a charity gala.
