Haiti - Security : Demonstrations banned, Moïse Jean Charles defies the PNH

The Director General of the PNH stated that its services had not received any notification of a request for permission to demonstrate on Wednesday. "If there are demonstrations in the street, they will be illegal and dispersed by the police," saying that contacts had been established with the former President, so that he calls his supporters not to demonstrate in order to facilitate the work of the security forces.

Also he assured that all measures have been taken to ensure maximum security to former President Aristide throughout the circuit that he will takerom his residence in Tabarre until the cabinet of instruction of the judge, as well as the security of his return to Tabarre. The circuit and the zone of prosecutor's office will be prohibited of access and police officers will secure the course and a perimeter around the prosecution.

The Senator Moïse Jean-Charles, defying the instructions of the PNH called for demonstrations in all regions and asked to the Lavalas, supporters and sympathizers to accompany former President Aristide at the courthouse. He also asked them to gather en masse before the Presidential Palace, after the hearing of Aristide.

The Senator Francky Exius, calls as his colleague, supporters of the former president to demonstrate today Wednesday in Port-au-Prince and around the country.

On the side of Fanmi Lavalas, Maryse Narcisse, Coordinator of the Executive Committee of Fanmi Lavalas said not being able to react to this ban, not having read the instructions of the PNH.
