Haiti - Music : First selection and last audition for the contest Next Beat Haiti

Following the auditions, Thursday, May 2 (Categories: Traditional Music, Konpa music and gospel music), as part of Contest Next Beat Haiti, which gives the chance to emerging groups to perform on stage and record music in a professional studio, the Selection Committee, composed of a dozen experts and professional members of the music, has selected to participate in the showcase concerts, which will take place from May 15 to June 12, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in spectacle rooms of Port-au-prince and Petion-ville : Jean Gardy Pierre, Nixon & Jah Pazon and Samba Kreyòl, in the Traditional Music Category ; Alive for God, Auralie Antoine and Gervais Daniel in the Gospel Music category and Enèji, Jean Bernard Antoine and Zukora the famous in Category Music Konpa.

The organizers noted enthusiasm and discipline in these young talents "We heard a lot of potential, notes Joël Widmaier, but we also realize that these young people need artistic and technical advice."

Monday at the restaurant Villate took place the last live auditions of the contest Next Beat Haiti for categories: Urban music : Castillon Jn Gardy, D.E.S.I.R.E, Jees & Cleb, Harold Altero, Koukoum, and NK7. Songs : Celestin Wilkinson, Christci Libertin, Daphné Ménard, D-One, Jean Fasnel and Kblaj. Jazz and off category : Cousin Clic and Darlin Johancy Michel.
