As part of the preparation for the Gold Cup, the Grenadiers, after having greatly impressed in their encounter with Spain, won by Spain 2-1 after many efforts to impose, our national team faced Tuesday at Estádio Club de Regatas in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the Italian team La Squadra Azzurra, quadruple world champion in a friendly match that concluded on a draw (2-2).

From the outset, the Italians have surprised the Grenadiers by scoring the first goal, Emanuele Giaccherini (1 '). Far from daunted the Grenadiers multiply their offensive actions, recovering the ball of the feet of the Italian players, accumulating the passes...

Magalie Adolphe Racine, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action welcomes the achievement of the Grenadiers, the dedication of the Haitian team players for their performance in the defense of Haitian colors in the two friendly matches played against Spain and Italy respectively 8 and June 11, 2013 stating "The Grenadiers, by their sense of patriotism and citizenship, brought a positive visibility and demonstrated with honor what are the Haitian values to the world."
