Haiti - Sports : Training of 150 sports technicians Haitian and Dominican
Technological University of Santiago (UTESA) and the Ministry of Sports of the Dominican Republic began on Tuesday a 15-day intensive training [attested by a diploma] in various sports disciplines such as athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, judo, boxing and taekwondo, for 150 sports technicians, 75 Dominicans and 75 Haitians with the support of Cuban technicians

In this course, given on the grounds of the UTESA, participate technicians of Anse-à-Pitre, Gautier, Belladere and Ouanaminthe for Haiti, and from Pedernales, Independencia, Elías Piña, Dajabón and Montecristi for the Dominican Republic.

Fiordaliza Caridad Ceballosa, the Civil Governor of Dajabón declared "[...] this is the first time that sports technicians of the border will be trained to a so high level."
