Haiti - Politic : Commission of Inquiry on the death of Judge Jean Serge Joseph...
While many seek by all means to politicize the disappearance of Judge Jean Serge Joseph, died Saturday, July 13 evening at the hospital Bernard Mevs where he was admitted in admitted early in the morning, following a Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA), Jean Tolbert Alexis, President of the Lower House announced the formation of a Commission, at the request of the Standing Committee on Justice and Security, which is responsible for investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Judge Joseph.

Jean Tolbert Alexis believes it is important that light be shed on this case, because of the controversy that this death arouses in society It was fully entitled that we set up this commission [...] The whole truth must be revealed in this case [...]," declared John Tolbert Alexis which states that all persons mentioned in this cases will have to make available to the Commission, not ruling out the possibility that the highest authorities of the country be called by the Commission "The Commission has the prerogative to interview anyone in the framework of its mandate, if someone has nothing to hide, it should come to gives its version of events [...]"

In addition, Me Jean Renel Sanon, the Minister of Justice said that it was not the role of his Ministry to conduct an investigation on the death of Judge Jean Serge Joseph, stating that if the Government Commissioner and the police wanted to open a such an investigation, he saw no problem, recalling that the judge was not shooting death but of result of a stroke...

For his part, the fierce opponent of the Head of State, the Senator Moise Jean-Charles, take advantage of the politicization of the case to call the President Martelly to resign, stating that in case of refusal, the deputies will engage procedures of indictment.
