On Monday, the President Michel Martelly, accompanied, among others by, MM. Charles Jean-Jacques and David Bazile, respectively Ministers of Social Affairs and Labour, and of the Interior and Territorial Communities, visited the community restaurant of Morne Rouge (Plaine-du-Nord), which for only 10 gourdes by dish, allows to 500 people every day, Monday to Friday, enjoy a hearty meal.

Recall that government welfare programs, particularly "Ede Pèp" are set up with the objective to assist in the immediate those who can not get enough to eat. The community restaurant of Morne Rouge is the 27th of its kind on a series of 90, established by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Note that the meals prepared in these community restaurants are uses local products.
