Haiti - Politic : Launch of a sectoral table on transparency
Last Thursday, an important meeting was held at the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation around the launch of a sectoral table on transparency, attended by representatives of the Haitian government and the international community.

This meeting was organized by the Ministry in the constant concern of the Government to strengthen state structures to combat corruption in all its forms and to consolidate public finances.

Participants of the Haitian State :
The Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), the National Commission on Government Procurement (CNMP), the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), the Unit for Combating Corruption (ULCC) and General Administration of Customs (GAC).

Participants of the International Community :
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. State Department (DEA), the United Nations (UN), the World Bank (WB), the Canadian Embassy, the Embassy of France, the European Union (EU) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
