Haiti - Security : Graduation of the first promotion of the tourist police

Friday, as part of activities of the World Tourism Day was held at the Police Academy in Frères (Petionville) the graduation ceremony and the presentation of parchments of the first promotion of the Tourist Police of Haiti (PoliTour).

According to Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin this contingent composed of 52 agents, will be responsible for monitoring the important tourist attractions of the country, guiding tourists and take action against any person by their actions affecting the tourism sector

In addition to their police training, these officers of the Politour also received courses related to tourism, languages ​​and geography.
