Jude Jean Jacques, the 2013 National President of the Junior Chamber International (JCI Haiti) announced that the annual convention of youth leaders citizens and enterprising, will take place this year in the city of Jacmel from 17 to 20 October 2013, at the Hotel Cap Lamendou around the theme "A Youth of entrepreneurs for a leadership of actions and services". He invites all young people, entrepreneurs, students, professionals to take part in this major event in the city's southeast.

Jude Jean Jacques says that the annual convention is a platform where young leaders and future leaders of this country will discuss the major challenges faced by the country and sustainable solutions "Each of us has a duty to contribute to a better Haiti, participate to the reconstruction and to the sustainable development of our country."

For her part, Daniella Jacques, he Local President of JCI in Petion-Ville, stressed that there was no better way to discover the country that by doing local tourism and the Convention provides that opportunity. "With the JCI Haiti, young people learn to discover the country and to love it more. Every year hundreds of young people discover new lands [...] Learning to know the country is learning to love it."

Organized in Montrouis in 2011 in Cap Haitien in 2012 and this year the City of Alcibiades Pomeyrac, the Convention intends to gather no less than 300 young men and women leaders in an atmosphere of sharing and exchange.
